Sika® Separol® is a high-performance formwork release agent specially designed to provide easy and clean removal of concrete from formwork surfaces. Product Details

Sika® Separol® is a premium release agent developed to ensure easy demoulding while improving the appearance and finish quality of concrete surfaces.

Up to 12 months when stored in unopened original packaging under recommended storage conditions.

Store in the original unopened container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture, and frost. Keep the container tightly closed after use.

Approximately 0.85–0.90 kg/L at +25°C.

Application

Typical consumption depends on the type and condition of the formwork:

  • Steel Formwork: 30–50 m²/L
  • Timber/Plywood Formwork: 20–40 m²/L

Actual coverage may vary depending on surface texture and application method.

  • Clean the formwork surface thoroughly.
  • Apply a thin, even coat using a brush, roller, or spray.
  • Avoid excessive application.
  • Allow the coating to spread evenly before pouring concrete.
  • Remove the formwork after the concrete has adequately cured.
